What we want interns for:
- Creative input! We’d like your help in preparing for the public exhibition at the end of March — involves editing text/video/photos, providing feedback and brainstorming ideas.
- Helping get our new Action Heroes website up and running — involves editing, research, documenting and archiving tasks.
What we’re looking for:
- Commitment to the mission and vision of the Blank Noise Project
- Basic familiarity with the organization (visit Blank noise project)
- At least 6 hours of your time per week — starting Feb. 25 through the end of April
- Prior video/text editing experience preferred but not required
- Enthusiasm and a sense of humor!
What we’ll provide:
- No pay, sorry, but we’ll give you a certificate, the occasional free lunch, and our undying gratitude
- Public credit for your work, on the web and in the public exhibition
- Working space at the Blank Noise Studio, off Nandi Durga Rd.
- Very flexible schedule

In case you are wondering who they are, blank noise is a people driven campaign against eve teasing in all its ugly forms, they have many activities from educational to protests. These area bunch of young people who are doing some real good, standing up against and creating awareness about adisgustingly huge social evil that almost always has been ignored. The activities are not limited to chennai, they have active groups in mumbai, b’lore and other cities. You are more than welcome to begin one in yours.

Hi..Actually i was looking for a detailed law against Eve-Teasing, but was unable to find any relevant info…every website was carrying an article rather a detailed info on law…It wa through your website that i received the info which I required…I jst want to know your company’s contact number and be a part of your drive against eve-teasing…I would love to work with your company. I’m from Mumbai, and most of the incidents of eve-Teasing happens in the local trains here. There’s a window partion between Gents and ladies compartment, and through this useless window gap, these monkeys keep on staring on girls and women. Many times, 16-17 year old boys enter the ladies compartment too. Few times, i forced them to get down, and when I shouted, some ladies supported me. I was really happy to have a support from them, this makes you more storng, also i shout at those monkeys, sharing ladies. But you know there is an awarness required from women and men both…well, if tried, eve-teasing could be minimized with the support of society, law and most important inner strength of women..
So, hey girls wake up, the new world is calling…
