Disclaimer: I have nothing but utmost disdain for the morons all over the net who are going “so the she was a he eh lol”. It is not funny, and the fact that everyone rushes to post how horrible the society and the sports world has become should take some time to research the background of the mentioned athlete and the social structure of the country. I do wish that the athelete would come out with a press release or an interview to clarify things. Shanthi, good luck, I hope your carrer and life are not ruined by arbitrary and insensitive regulations(If you are indeed transgendered).

The culture of the Eastern countries is based upon hypocrisy. Instead of projecting oneself as what he or she “is” we project ourselves as we “ought to be”. But instead of claiming that it is an ought we claim that it is an is.
In such countries and cultures “difference” is a big crime, and like vultures every hypocrite devours the poor, the helpless, and — worse — the ones who are “different”. Nobody thinks of the pain.
Christians should have broken away from this, but they have not!
