Noticed the techie/nerd/geek snobbery around? No?

Read any of them techno blogs recently?, or tried a tutorial on some new software?. You will realize that much of the content is tailored to the expectations of a group who is already thecno savvy not for the common man or for the non techie. I know I should have better sense than trying to compete with people who actually know something about computers, but its not just that, it’s also the fact that much of what I read is laden with presumptions. So here is my declaration of independence [read: I am bitching].

I do not have a core duo processor

I have less than one gb of ram

Till one month ago was using SD ram (128 MB)

I do not have a 300 gb sata hard drive

I don’t have an ipod

I hate Itunes

I dont use itunes to manage my lbrary I use foobar

I use commercial non-open-source software

I know nothing about command line

I don’t care about it either

I don’t have a music library running into ten thousands

I don’t have problems sleeping at night

I do not use GTD or a pocket hipster

I also dont have the time to do endless DIY projects I would rather buy cheap stuff than make it.

I also do not fool myself into thinking that just because I read a lot about how to improve my life and become more effective I wont unless i stop sitting in front of this moron box and do something.
