Hey folks the Best blogging platform in ze whole www is celebrating its FIRST birthday today.

I am no internet historian but it is obvious to me that the enormous success that wordpress has had since its launching one year ago is an iconic and unpercedented achievement.

Perhaps it will be a real good exercise for the analyst types out there to look at how Matt and Co. pulled this whopper of a winner.

I remember when last year around october- november I started blogging, and read up as many articles I could comparing the various blogging platforms, wordpress was barely there, and Blogger was the hip thing. I moved to Worpress in a month after I began my Blogger blog, so fast and impressive was the growh and development of Wordpress.

There is much that I love about Wordpress and I am officially on a hiatus so I will not (cannot) make a list of 50 reasons why wordpress rocks but surely some of you out there can.

Bravo Team Wordpress, keep the good works flowing.
